At the end of a narrow alley there is this gorgeous hiatorical building with amazing interior design which captures the envoirment of old Isfahan. The food is surprisingly good and the price is avearge compared to the great food they serve. The restaurant crew are very polite. One of the best that I exprienced in the whole country.
If you are looking for a café-restaurant with a traditional Iranian atmosphere and architecture, this is a good option. Despite its large size of restaurant, we had to wait in line for about fifteen minutes. The chicken kebab and rice had a good quality, but I don't recommend the kebab biryani here.
Many traditional houses in the area have been converted into café-restaurants, and this is one of them. You can read about its history at the entrance. Like others, it features an ancient house with a central yard. It tends to get busy during main meal times, but we arrived early for lunch and avoided the rush. The food quality is good; we ordered traditional dishes, and they were delicious. However, the staff seemed a bit confused with the orders and made some mistakes with customers' requests.
I came here twice and enjoyed it both times. It's very beloved amongst locals, and probably one of the main reasons for this is that you simply would never enter the alley it's in, let alone the recessed door 50 meters away from the main street with no sign. The food is great and the people working there were very friendly and obviously cared about us having a good experience.
I just finished my second-time lunch here. Lovely staff, fabulous serving services, and amazing taste of food could be surely experienced here.🌹
A great place to enjoy well prepared traditional food in a traditional setting, with good service and close to Naghsh e Jahan square. I recommend Gheime Nesar and Kase Kabab and Mash Polow. Enjoyed this place with family, and will come back.
